By Joyce Jacobo
[Author’s Note: A very experimental piece regarding wordplay.]
May I offer you a cup of tea–
a cup of tea from me and you?
Or should the arrangement be
a cup of Ts from I to U?
Semantics can get confusing
when symbols like letters
can represent ideas
So let me just stop short
at a cup of tea . . .
. . . or is it a cup of Ts?
Oh, dear me!
Just tea with milk, please 😍

Haha! Agreed. It’s one of the reasons I love the English language so much. ^_^
