By Joyce Jacobo
[Author’s Note: A short and simple piece about being as creative as possible, and seeking to inspire others to do the same.]
Stretch your imagination.
Extend it past the boundaries
defined by reality and the mundane.
Fantasize about impossibilities made true
then craft each one in careless abandon
yet thoughtful awe.
Unleash them one step at a time to forge a new pathway
and guide wonderstruck visitors among your many creative visions.
Finally…
encourage other dreamers
to pave their own ways forward
as you cheer for their progress.
Powerful , inspiring , and motivating . Love this wonderful poem.đź’•

You have succeeded in conveying your creative message in such a flowing way Joyce..I love the end thought of inspiring each other..is that not the true idea of an artistic community? You have expressed it more beautifully than I can:)

I absolutely love encouraging others. Stretching my limits is my passion, but sometimes, for some reason, I’m not keen on actually taking the time and putting in the effort. It’s weird. They say that for work you should do what you love and you won’t work a day in your life. I have to disagree. I love to be creative and write, but I cannot keep it up on a constant basis.

Agreed. Doing what you love is a wonderful thing, but you have to take a break sometimes and move at a realistic pace. ^_^ Great insights, Goldie!
