Having a WordPress blog has been a great learning experience, especially when combined with advice gleamed from other bloggers, writing friends, and sources like Writer’s Market. One important thing to keep in mind, it seems, is to continue developing a blog with a specific focus in mind. I started “The Literary Serenity Archives” with the desire to gather feel-good stories from all over the place and offer a platform for other writers to showcase their works, and it’s coming together along those lines. However, it still has a lot of room for growth.
As such, I have made a slight tweak to the menu with “Archives and Literary Organizations.” Basically, it is a combination of the Online Archives and Worthy Causes sections, but with a greater emphasis on writing, books, and other kinds of literacy efforts.
